To the novel I thought got me as well as this one, I gotta apologize, cause Sloppy Firsts just scoured you from my brain.

This book is freaking genius, a la:

"I would never get a boob job. It's a disgusting procedure--I saw one performed on The Learning Channel. The surgeon went in through the belly button. The belly button! He stretched her skin like it was a wad of Bubble Yum and just pushed and shoved then into place. Ka-Boom: Va-va-va-voom."

And the best part (on my sanity) can only be described in the two words Ate sold me on this book:

Edward, who?

Marcus Flutie. Yes, please.

Or well, at least, in full otaku fashion, I gotta say I feel like my dignity/sense of humor is revived with this book. (All to be welcomely dashed down by the time I get my hands on Eclipse...) And it also gives me this insatiable reading-thirst.

(I'm so so so sorry, eyes. I'll read in copious lighting.)

So, I'm putting off homework with, at the least, a decent cause. Thank God for Victoria Day! The crunch of the school year is really hitting me hard (I totally forgot about my tutoring session and e-mailing our Group coordinator at the p2pteam). Least there ain't no Jap. finals.
